According to consumer goods expert Alice Beer, P&O Cruises has announced that cruise guests can save up to £1,600 on daily holiday expenses.
For two adults, normal holiday expenses such as food, travel and entertainment, outdoor activities and movie tickets can cost upwards of £1,000. The amount for the whole family is up to 1600 GBP.
In contrast, a typical P&O Cruises vacation includes lodging, full board, afternoon tea, trips to multiple destinations, entertainment, and a kids’ club.
Consumer magazine This Morning editor Alice Bill said, “When planning your next year’s vacation, it’s more important than ever to do the math. When you factor in food, activities, and entertainment, seemingly cheap trips often end up being more expensive than expecting much higher fees. Cruises that include just about everything offer incredible value for money and give you the unique opportunity to visit multiple destinations in one vacation.”
The seven-day flight/cruise to the Canary Islands costs £499 per person, the company says, and includes flights back to Tenerife and with stops in Madeira, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote.
